Hi, I’m Marilyn

I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) with a Masters in Education in Clinical Mental Counseling. I work with adults and couples in Kansas who want to move through anxiety, burnout and relational strain with both emotional honesty and practical tools. I offer a grounded space where insight and skill-building happen together.

Story

From organizational work to clinical practice

I spent years in HR and organizational strategy, helping leaders and teams navigate change. That work taught me how much people struggle in silence, how structure matters, and how the right conditions allow real growth.

I pursued clinical training to work directly with people in their pain.

Scope

Therapy for adults and couples in Kansas

I provide therapy for adults and couples in Kansas, both in-person in Newton and via telehealth. I serve clients across the Wichita area and surrounding communities including Hutchinson, McPherson, Hillsboro, Hesston, Valley Center, Maize, Park City, Moundridge, and Burrton. I'm licensed by the Kansas Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board and clear about the line between therapy and coaching.

  • Licensed in Kansas for in-person and telehealth

Training

Licensed, trained, and grounded in evidence

I hold a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Kansas. I'm also a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and a member of the American Counseling Association.
